  • Terrible and boring

One long extremely long music video, with guest appearances of very famous note worthy actors.
  • its a musical. lame

if you don’t like musicals with singing and dancing, avoid. lame. unwatchable.
  • Maybe the best movie I ever saw, period.

Baby Driver is a mix of romance, crime, and action at once. It’s just great, and genius. This deserves more praise than it has, can’t wait for a remake for it in the next 20 years. If you are thinking about getting this movie, do it now. You’re life will never be the same without this.

I was looking forward to renting this for so long but was sadly dissapionted. From the first scene the film is so incredibly derivative. A lot of things borrow from other things - as has Wright's movies in the past - but always with grace and a subtle nod - not outright copying like in Baby Driver. The film is entirely based on the amzing video for Blue Song by Mint Royale starring the incomparable Noel Fielding. That years old, 4 minute music video is better than this hour+ movie. I could not relate to or care about any of the characters. The dialog was contrived. Bummers all around.
  • Formulaic

It's for kids who haven't seen the previous interations of this story. Okay soundtrack, okay acting, okay car chase scenes but nothing new. If you are over 30 I'd skip it.
  • At best, its not that good.

I tend to be an easy grader and I'm more generous than most reviewers because I grade on how I like a movie. Often I like stuff a lot of folk have a tough time with. That said, this one didn't do anything for me. I couldn't stay to the end despited the star actors, action scenes, loud soundtrack and energy. Was an unbelievable romp into boredom. Keven Spacy tried so hard to be this cool 'dude' who had a nasty core, and missed the mark. Kind of like having a rabbit play a wolf with strap on fangs. Glad to see so many people liked it but I'm not one of them. Two stars for effort. One star for movie.

  • This Movie is Odd

    By MarcLWalker
Title says it all. It’s an odd movie in the same way that “Driver” was. Of course it’s based on great automobile driving and great stunts. But it’s also a weirdly romantic thriller. You never fully feel good or bad for anyone in this movie. Maybe Debora, but not really. All this is NOT to say it’s a bad movie. We all very much enjoyed it. Just don’t go into it thinking it’s a smart version of Fast & Furious. Jon Hamm is BRILLIANT in this role against typecast and beautifully so.
  • I hated this movie!

I hated that I wasted my time with this movie! I have not been so disappointed in a movie in years!
